O Imasul (Instituto de Meio Ambiente de Mato Grosso do Sul) convoca todos os proprietários de imóveis localizados na Área de Uso Restrito do Pantanal (AUR-Pantanal) e que possuam processos de licenciamento ambiental em tramitação, para procederem aos ajustes determinados pela Lei do Pantanal nos referidos Cadastros Ambientais Rurais (CAR), no prazo de 180 dias.
Esse prazo está valendo desde a publicação do Edital de Convocação no Diário Oficial do Estado, que aconteceu no dia 9 de abril. “Se o proprietário não fizer os ajustes necessários no CAR, o processo de licenciamento é automaticamente extinto”, explicou o diretor presidente do Imasul, André Borges.
Os proprietários ou seus representantes devem acessar o sistema do Imasul e carregar as informações necessárias, exigidas pela Lei do Pantanal, para só então seus processos de licenciamento terem seguimento junto ao órgão ambiental.
Essa providência é necessária porque, conforme esclareceu Borges, a Lei do Pantanal (Lei 6.160 de 18 de dezembro de 2023) descreve uma série de novos pontos sensíveis na paisagem pantaneira como os capões, cordinheiras, landis; também as salinas, as veredas e os meandros abandonados (espécies de ilhas por onde passavam rios e que, com a mudança de curso, ficaram cercadas por água).
Todas essas formações geográficas passam a ser protegidas, inclusive em seu entorno, e precisam ser identificadas no Cadastro Ambiental Rural das propriedades.
Anexo ao Edital de Notificação foi publicada a lista de 158 processos de licenciamento ambiental em andamento no Imasul, que são afetados pela medida.
Além desses nomes, os requerentes com propriedades no Pantanal que têm processo em tramitação e não constam na listagem, devem protocolar requerimento no Imasul solicitando a abertura do sistema para proceder aos ajustes necessários nos respectivos Cadastros Ambientais Rurais.
